BEAR AUTO REPAIR

I came across Fox Run Auto due to an unfortunate circumstance when I moved to Delaware. I had my catalytic converter stolen one random afternoon at the Food Lion parking lot in Newark by the BJs. When I called AAA, they told me that Fox Run was in the area close by and they would be able to service my vehicle. I gave them a call and told them I heard a crazy loud noise like a motorcycle, Mike, the owner, knew right away that my catalytic converter was stolen. I was in shock and I had nothing stolen from my car ever before. Fox Run Auto replaced my converter, had my insurance cover most of the damage and they also completed other maintenance for my 2005 Honda Element ever since that day I had the incident. The mechanics here are extremely helpful and know cars very well. I’ve always had a hard time trusting mechanics since I’m a young woman so it’s easy to be vulnerable with these situations; my dad always taught me to not let anyone rip me off. I appreciate their overall concern for my vehicle and for helping me in a time of need. I’m still getting acclimated here to Delaware, however I’m happy that I have a mechanic nearby that I can trust with my Honda. My Honda had to get several maintenance repairs done since the incident and now, it’s driving wonderfully. Thank you Fox Run Auto!!

Mike was honest and fair when pricing. He was also easy to deal with and had the truck ready when promised. He used all factory OEM parts and was a lot less expensive than the quote I got from the dealer. Truck runs great and is now quiet with no strange noises. Will definitely use them again!!

Mike was very helpful and kind and they did a great job on my car they also had ready on time

They were great. Everything was excellent and they were on schedule with very little wait.

I got a new alternator and serpentine belt in addition to their special tow truck services. The tow truck driver was the nicest guy and made sure we were okay. Vinny was also nice and informative about my car. When we got the car back, she wasn’t driving appropriately and was jumping/jolting at every turn. I took her right back to the garage and let them know. Vinny took it for a drive and came back to confirm what I stated earlier. He got Mike to also go with him for a drive and they came back and let me know there was something else going on with the car (not related to the work they did on it though. My Honda Accord is an 06 with over 250,000 miles on it. Mike and Vinny said they would check her out for free the next day and let me know. Vinny told me that it was her transmission and an internal problem. He was VERY informative and talked to me for about 20 mins explaining everything. They can give me a used transmission to replace the other one but there’s no guarantee that there will be other things wrong with her once they take the transmission out. She has been sitting in my driveway for over a year and I already invested $803 for the alternator and belt. If I choose the option to replace the transmission, it will be $3,200. My car is so old and has given the greatest 17 years. They are giving me a couple days to process all this and let them know what I’d like to do. They were very caring and understanding. They are even letting the Honda stay there until I make the decision. I would go back to them for any other car concerns. I gave them a 4 star rating bc they should have initially felt those jolts after taking her for a test drive after the alternator was fixed.
