Times are scary right now with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic sweeping the world. It is the responsibility of every individual to do his or her part to help prevent spreading the illness. As business owners, we are under enormous pressure to protect the safety of our our customers and the wellbeing of our employees. We are taking this situation very seriously at Fox Run Auto.
Business Update
As of this post (March 25, 2020), the Fox Run Auto repair shop is open for regular business hours Monday through Friday and our 24/7 roadside assistance services are still available. Under Delaware's temporary "stay at home" orders, automotive repair services are considered essential because people still need their cars. If anything changes, we will do our best to keep our website and social media pages updated with the most recent developments.
New Safety Measures
Just because we remain open does not mean it is "business as usual." We are doing everything in our power to provide our quality auto repair services while making sure the top priority is keeping people safe. We have adopted all safety and sanitization recommendations as laid out by the CDC and WHO, as well as business regulations from state and local health officials. We are cleaning and disinfecting surfaces as often as possible throughout the shop and office. Our employees are washing their hands regularly and thoroughly after touching any vehicle, part or shop surface.
Stay Home if Sick
Of course, we recommend that any employees stay home if they are feeling even the slightest bit sick. Likewise, we highly encourage any customers who may be sick to stay away from the shop. Customers over the age of 65 or with existing health issues should also avoid coming in if possible. Please stay safe at home and call us. We will do everything in our power to help you out, including vehicle pick-up and delivery services.
Social Distancing
For customers who are coming in, please practice smart social distancing measures to minimize contact with other individuals at Fox Run Auto. We all know that people can carry coronavirus without showing symptoms, so we have to be extra careful not to spread it to others who are more vulnerable.
We highly recommend using our after-hours drop box to drop off and pick up your car (even during business hours) to minimize social contact with our staff.
